Management:

Poag Mechanical founder and president Richard Poag has more than 20 years of industry expertise and experience. A Class II Master Plumber since the age of 20, he obtained his Medical Gas Certification in the year 2000 expanding, his industry expertise and reach. Richard has experience with numerous mechanical and plumbing contractors in the Atlanta market, and served as a Cobb County (GA) Plumbing and HVAC Inspector for a short term before founding his own company in 2003. Richard oversees the daily operations at Poag Mechanical, and provides custom estimating for medical gas installation, utility contracting, and commercial HVAC and plumbing projects.

Shannon Poag
Vice President/Accounting

Shannon Poag, vice president and accounting manager, brings more than a decade of experience in construction management, banking and finance, and oversees accounting and daily operations at Poag Mechanical. Shannon, with the assistance of Catherine Poag, maintains great efficiency in business operations, inter-office communications and client relationship management, while ensuring accurate, detailed and project-specific accounting procedures.

Richard and Shannon Poag reside in Pickens County with their two children, Brian and Brittany.
